A drop of Water
A drop of water
Sometimes fragrant tears
sometimes ecstatic dewdrop,
sometimes in fiery desire,
sometimes in passion of excess
in a kiss .
That drop of water
sucked in the thirsty earth.
years pass
Decades pass
The centuries too....
Then one fine autumn dawn
your arms full
with trembling Sephali *
with shivering dew drops
form deep inside the earth
and my heart.
some where in between
a bleeding sky
Throbs.
My lovely Goddess of

I am begging you for
alms-
Please give me your
tears,
Please give me the
flowers,
Please give me some
sun,
And take my poems in
turn!
May raindrops fall on
pallet
And make my canvas
weep!
The charcoal sketch on
paper
May turn into wash in
water!
With all pains and joys
sundry
O' Goddess I beg for your
poetry!

Your comment ,which is a scintillating poem in itself, injects life force inside the heart of a very old poet.
